History of Quesería de Zamora S.A.
Since its founding over eight decades ago, Queserías de Zamora S.A. has become one of the most significant cheese producers in the industry.
Our primary goal is to craft the highest quality cheese and provide exceptional service to meet the demands of an increasingly competitive market. To achieve this, our facility is equipped with top-notch personnel and the latest technological advancements. The result is a diverse range of sheep, mixed, goat, and cow cheeses made from excellent raw materials, endorsed by leading industry professionals and numerous prestigious awards.
Origins
Our business journey began in 1940 in Villalonso (Zamora), with D. Antonino Marcos Manso founding a modest and entirely artisanal enterprise, facing challenging early years.
Initially, the cheese was made and sold itinerantly through various towns in Castilla y León. It wasn’t until 1966 that the business established itself permanently in Zamora.
Following a generational shift, D. Antonino Marcos Conde founded the present Queserías de Zamora S.A., driving the business towards modern industry growth.
With new aspirations, dreams, and, indeed, ambitions, the third generation, Laura and Luisa, now work to keep the flame of hope alive for a promising future. At this moment, they must leverage their experience and confidence to continually improve and excel.

Covering an area of 15,000 m² within a 40,000 m² plot, our facilities house machinery equipped with cutting-edge technology in the cheese industry. This allows us to fully meet the requirements of the International Food Standard (IFS) quality standards.
Our Future
Given the strategic location of our factory (the province of Zamora is Spain’s leading region for sheep milk production), coupled with our balance of production capacity, technology, and competitive structures, Queserías de Zamora is confidently moving towards the future. We are optimistic, knowing that we are well-adapted to the evolving times.
